one of my professors, Graham, shared this insight with me back in 2014 after a few months of collaborating on my first venture, Kilenda.
Looking back, Graham's advice was spot on, even though I didn't fully grasp his message at the time.
My style.
In my advisory or investor roles, I have a distinct approach to working with teams: I maintain a firm stance on the issues without ever making it personal. I rely on technology, KPIs, OKRs, and Dashboards to efficiently gain insights into a business, all while considering its culture, strategy and North Star. Those I've collaborated with have commended my pragmatic problem-solving strategies and my ability in bringing clarity to confusing situations.
My expertise lies in orchestrating interactions among diverse stakeholders, each with their specialised terminology, within complex settings, demonstrating a keen understanding of individual motivations, challenges, and nuances.
